Best Pattern Tracing Paper Ever

Let me just say it. I’m cheap. I love the thrill of finding a bargain. So when I discovered a cheap supply of pattern tracing paper (I trace/create a lot of patterns), I latched onto some.

I don’t get it at a fabric store or a paper store. I get it at my doctor’s office. I buy it from him by the roll. It’s the paper they use to cover the examination tables! Think about it. It’s transparent enough to easily trace through, and it’s durable enough to, well, lay down on and not tear into shreds. It’s wide enough for most pattern pieces to fit on and it’s as long as you want. I’ve been using it for years and my doctor is always nice enough to just charge me a few dollars because their office buys it by the case. The last time I needed some my husband was in the examination room with me when I asked the nurse if I might buy a roll from the office. When I looked over at my husband, his eyes were staring up at the ceiling and he was obviously trying to pretend he wasn’t really in a room with a wife who was asking silly questions. But I say never roll your eyes at a bargain!
